QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Medium/Heavy Truck certification preferred.
- Current certification in at least one area of diesel technology is required.
- Five (5) years recent (within the last seven years), full-time employment experience directly related to automotive/diesel technology.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience as an Automotive/Diesel Technology instructor
- Commitment to ensuring academic success for all students
- Experience working in an urban setting, preferred
- Experience working with diverse student populations, preferred
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply student performance data to instructional planning and execution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent teamwork skills

Required license(s):
- Massachusetts Vocational Instructor Certification in Automotive Technology, 9-14
